Terms of service
A trainer,
and a chart.
Version 1.0 · in force from 23 August 2026 · Isolario, Ramir Visuals
Plain terms for a small app. The important one is in the second section: Isolario trains recall and draws a chart. It is not a medical device and it does not tell you what your dreams mean.
The agreement
These terms govern your use of the Isolario app and the isolario.studio website. Using either means you accept them. They are between you and Ramir Visuals, Italy.
What Isolario is — and is not
Isolario is a trainer and a chart. It helps you practise dream recall and it draws what comes back as an archipelago.
It is not a medical device, not a sleep tracker, not a diagnostic tool and not therapy. It does not interpret your dreams and it makes no claim about what they mean. Nothing in the app is medical or psychological advice. If you are worried about your sleep or your mental health, speak to a professional — the app is not a substitute for one, and it is not built to be.
Your account and your archive
You do not need an account. The archive is yours: you own what you write, and we claim no licence over it. You are responsible for keeping your device secure and for keeping your own backups — see the section on data loss below.
Subscriptions and payment
Isolario offers a free tier and a paid subscription. Subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple through the App Store, and are subject to Apple's terms as well as these.
- Payment is taken at confirmation of purchase.
- A subscription renews automatically unless you turn renewal off at least 24 hours before the period ends.
- You manage and cancel it in your App Store account settings, not through us.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under their policy. We cannot issue them ourselves, though we will help you ask.
- If you are an EU consumer you have a 14-day right of withdrawal, exercised through Apple.
Founders pricing, where offered, is honoured for as long as the subscription stays active without interruption.
What you agree not to do
- Reverse-engineer, decompile or extract the app's source, except where the law says you may.
- Resell, sublicense or redistribute the app.
- Use it to break the law, or to harm anyone.
- Attack the service — automated scraping, load attacks, attempts to get at other people's data.
Our intellectual property
The app, the website, the name Isolario, the mark, the typography and the design system belong to us. Your content belongs to you. Nothing in these terms transfers either.
Data loss
Because your archive lives on your device, losing the device can mean losing the archive. Turn on sync, or keep a device backup, or export regularly — export is free on every plan and produces a readable file. We cannot recover an archive we never held, and we are not liable for one that is lost.
Availability
We aim to keep the app working and current, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Features may change. If we ever discontinue Isolario we will give reasonable notice and leave export working so you can take your archive with you.
Liability
The app is provided as it is. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
None of this limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or the statutory rights you have as a consumer.
Ending it
You can stop using Isolario at any time by deleting the app. We may end your access if you break these terms in a serious way; where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you first.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes are announced in the app and, for anyone on the list, by email before they take effect. The version and date at the top of this page always tell you which set applies.
Law and jurisdiction
Italian law applies. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country you live in, and you may bring proceedings in your own local courts. The European Commission's online dispute resolution platform is available at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
