Your dreams never
reach us.
Version 1.0 · in force from 23 August 2026 · Isolario, Ramir Visuals
Isolario is built so that the most intimate thing it touches — what you dreamt — never leaves the device you dreamt it on. This page says exactly what that means, and exactly what little we do hold.
What this policy covers
This policy explains what Isolario does with information when you use the app, the website at isolario.studio, and the waiting list. It is written to be read, not to be survived. If something here is unclear, write to us and we will fix the wording.
The short version: your dream archive lives on your device. We do not hold it, we cannot read it, and there is no version of this product that sells it.
What stays on your device
Everything you record is written to storage on your phone and stays there:
- the text of every entry, and the entities, tags and dates attached to it;
- your recall statistics, streaks and index;
- your archipelago — the graph the app builds out of your entries;
- your settings, reminders and preferences.
Voice capture is transcribed on the device. The audio is processed by Apple's on-device speech recognition and is discarded once the text exists. No recording is uploaded to us or to anyone else, and we never receive one.
What we never collect
- The content of your dreams. Not in any form, not aggregated, not anonymised.
- Audio recordings.
- Contacts, photos, precise location, health or sleep-tracking data.
- Advertising identifiers. There is no advertising SDK in the app.
Sync, if you turn it on
Sync is off by default. If you switch it on, your archive is copied to your own private iCloud container using Apple's CloudKit. That container belongs to your Apple account, not to us: it counts against your iCloud storage, it is governed by Apple's terms, and we have no access to it — not the data, not the keys, not a dashboard that shows it to us.
Turning sync off stops new copies. Deleting the app's data from your iCloud settings removes what is already there.
The waiting list
If you give us your email address, we store the address, the date you signed up and nothing else. It lives with our email provider, MailerLite, who process it on our behalf under their own data-processing terms.
We use it to tell you when the beta opens and when there is something worth trying. Every message carries a one-click unsubscribe, and unsubscribing deletes the record. You can also ask us directly and we will remove it.
The website
isolario.studio runs no analytics, no cookies of our own, no tracking pixels, no fingerprinting and no third-party scripts. The page you are reading loads nothing from anywhere else.
Our host keeps ordinary server logs — IP address, timestamp, page requested, browser string — for security and for counting traffic. They are kept for a short period and are not joined to anything else.
Purchases
If you buy a subscription it is handled by Apple through the App Store. We never see your card details. Apple tells us that a purchase happened and gives us anonymous aggregate sales figures; that is the whole of it.
Crash reports and diagnostics
If you have opted in to sharing diagnostics with developers in your iOS settings, Apple may send us crash logs. These contain technical information about the failure — the device model, the OS version, the code path — and no dream content.
Children
Isolario is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Your rights
Because your archive is on your device, most rights you would normally have to exercise through us are already in your hands: you can read, edit and delete any entry at any time, and export the whole archive to a readable file — free, on every plan, including the free one.
For the only data we do hold — your email address, if you gave it to us — you can ask for a copy, a correction or deletion by writing to hello@isolario.studio. If you are in the EU or the UK you have these rights under the GDPR, and you may complain to your national supervisory authority. Ours is the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
Deleting everything
Delete the app and its on-device data goes with it. If sync was on, remove the Isolario container from your iCloud settings as well. Unsubscribe from the list, or write to us, and your address is gone from our side.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will say so in the app and by email to anyone on the list before the change takes effect. Every version is dated at the top of this page.
Who to write to
Isolario is made by Ramir Visuals, Italy. The data controller is Ramir Visuals. Write to hello@isolario.studio — it is a real address and a person reads it.
Questions about any of this, or a request to see or delete what we hold, go to hello@isolario.studio. A person reads it.
